    In order to accomplish its mission, Pharmalab Ltd is looking for a qualified and committed individual to join its team in the following positions:

    1. Production Engineer

    Location: Masoro Prime Economic Zone
    Contract: Permanent
    Availability: Immediately

    Key responsibilities
    • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations of the factory
    • Supervise production, assets capacity and flexibility
    • Perform highly diversified duties to install, operate and maintain the factory system machinery.
    • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
    • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
    • Oversees the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities are maintained to international standards
    • Remain in compliance with facility ISO standards and all HSE guidelines
    • Ensures that unnecessary costs are minimized
    • Prepare, analyze and issue production and performance reports
    • Maintain all administrative record

    Qualifications and other requirements
    • Should have a university degree (A0) in electrical engineering
    • Should have at least 3 years’ experience in machinery maintenances and repairs, preferably in factories.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants
    • Good diagnostic skills
    • Honesty and problem solving skills
    • Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
    • Creativity and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Be fluent in English and/or French
    • Ability to work well under pressure

    2. Production Operator

    Location: Masoro Prime Economic Zone
    Contract: Permanent
    Availability: Immediately

    Key responsibilities
    • Responsible to maintain, diagnoses and repair different mechanical part of equipment
    • Daily cleaning of machines
    • Sterilization of raw materials (VBCT components or plastic raw materials)
    • Transport of PET tubes, rubber stopper & EPS trays from sterilization window to clean room
    • Transports of plastic raw materials from sterilization window to machines’ room
    • Loading cap tank of capping machine
    • Plastic raw materials mixing
    • Injection molding machine operating
    • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
    • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
    • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
    • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
    • Test operation of machines periodically
    • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
    • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
    • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products

    Qualifications and other requirements
    • Should have a Diploma A1 in electromechanical or general mechanical
    • Should have at least 3 years’ experience in mechanical maintenances and repairs, preferably in factories.
    • Understanding of production procedures
    • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools
    • Analytical skills
    • Teamwork and communication skills
    • Physical stamina and strength
    • Be fluent in English and/or French
    • Able to work under pressure;

    3. SALES STAFF

    Location: Pharmalab Head Offices,Nyarugenge
    Contract: Permanent
    Availability: Immediately

    Key responsibilities

    • Assess client’s needs and present suitable products.
    • Work with sales team to develop strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
    • Responsible for keeping himself updated about the knowledge of the new products and services so that he/she can effectively sell it to the customers.
    • Maintain shelf organization & stocking.
    • Make sales, answer customers’ questions, channel customer complaints to proper avenues
    • Build effective business relationships with customers.
    • Responsible for informing the customer about the product or service and giving him a description of the uses or features of the product.
    • Delivery products to customers.
    • Required to look after the cleanliness of the store or work premises.
    • Receive the cash payments for all sales from the clients and keep copy of receipt;
    • Ensure that cash receipt and refund operations are well executed;
    • Keeps money in the drawer or safe.
    • Keep record of sales and submits them to the accountant at the end of the day.

    Qualifications and other requirements
    • Secondary school certificate (A2) in laboratory sciences or in Nursing with at least 2 years of professional experience; preferably in sales department.
    • Highly skilled in providing prompt and friendly customer service.
    • Well versed in performing monetary transactions such as giving and receiving change.
    • Able to maintain clean, neat and correctly stocked check stand and safe and secure work area.
    • Knowledge of cash, checks, credit card and refunds.
    • Demonstrated ability to balance all transactions run through assigned register, including.
    • Proven record of processing exact and efficient sale and return transactions.
    • Able to maintain knowledge of current product location.
    • Dedicated and meticulous—high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Be fluent in English and/or French.
    • Computer: Skilled in MS Word, Excel.

    4. DRIVER

    Location: Pharmalab Head Offices, Nyarugenge
    Contract: Permanent
    Availability: Immediately

    Key responsibilities
    • Drive office vehicles for the transportation of Pharmalab Ltd staff and visitors and other authorized personnel.
    • Transportation of goods to their destination.
    • Collection and delivery Pharmalab couriers.
    • Ensure that vehicles are driven safely, optimizing engines use, economizing fuel as well as minimizing wear and tear.
    • Report all vehicle maintenance problems, incidents, accidents and damage to the supervisor
    • Ensure full accountability for time, assignments and activities on a weekly basis to the supervisor
    • Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times
    Qualifications and other requirements
    • Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
    • Valid Rwanda driver’s license Level B.
    • Excellent driving skills with minimum 5 years’ experience as driving with good driving record.
    • Experience in driving through the remote parts of the country.
    • Knowledge of driving rules and regulations of the country and skills in minor vehicle repair.
    • Ability of writing a concise and faithful report of the accidents.
