    1. Budget Planning and Finance Functions:

      Participate in the preparation of the Medium Term Expenditure Framework

    Planning Specialist

    Job Description

    1. Planning Functions:

      Develop relevant tools for the preparation of the Ministry’s strategic plan, medium term plan, and annual action plan;

    Youth Risk Behavior Prevention Specialist

    Job Description

    1. Conduct research, formulate policies, programmes and strategies to prevent Risk behaviours among youth:

      Provide policy advice and develop policies, strategies and programs on risky behaviours prevention among youth;
      Coordinate joint interventions related to prevention of risk behaviours among youth;
      Spearhead the youth mobilisation interventions for risky behaviours prevention among youth;
      Conduct research and propose policy actions to prevent risky behaviours among youth;
      Establish strategies to strengthen all youth groups working in prevention of risky behaviours among youth.

    2. Follow up and evaluate the implementation of prevention of risky behaviours among youth:

      Follow up and evaluate the implementation of prevention of risky behaviours among youth;
      Analyse reports on prevention of risky behaviours among youth and provide policy recommendations;
      Monitor the progress of the implementation of different programs by the affiliated agencies.

    3. Initiate partnerships with key players intervening in fight and prevention of risky behaviours among youth:

      Initiate and participate in consultations with youth stakeholders to elaborate national programs, strategies and policies intended to fight against risky behaviours among youth;
      Initiate MoUs between the Ministry and the partners & monitor their implementation.

    4. Report:

      Prepare the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports of activities share them with the supervisor;
      Prepare analytical reports on key areas in prevention of risky behaviours among youth requiring special attention and advise accordingly;
      Carrying out any other relevant tasks assigned by the Ministry authorities including his/her supervisor.
